High blood pressure puts extra strain on your organs such as your heart, kidneys, nerves and eyes which if left untreated can cause extensive damage over time leading to serious health problems such as kidney failure or blindness. Therefore it’s essential that people with hypertension take steps early on in order prevent any further long-term complications from arising due to their condition.
