Q. What is retina display?
Doctor Answer is medically reviewed by SecondMedic medical review team.
Retina display is a marketing term used by Apple Inc. to describe certain computer monitor and smartphone screens that have a high pixel density, so that they appear to the human eye as if they are printed on paper.
This is thanks to the fact that individual pixels on a retina display screen are so small that the human eye cannot discern them from a distance. In other words, when looking at an image or text on a retina display screen, it appears smooth and continuous, just like something that has been printed on paper.
