It's challenging and exhausting, but also very rewarding.
Working in the intensive care unit is a demanding job. You are constantly on your feet and running around, attending to patients who are often critically ill. It can be very challenging and exhausting, but it is also very rewarding to be able to help patients recover from illness or injury and return home to their families.
ICU nurses must have excellent critical thinking skills and be able to make rapid decisions in order to provide the best possible care for their patients. They must also be able to work under pressure and handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
