Eating the right foods can go a long way towards helping cure and ease the annoying symptoms of sinusitis. Here are some foods that you can add to your diet to support healing:

Ginger: Ginger has potent anti-inflammatory properties, which makes it a great food for reducing inflammation in the nasal passages associated with sinusitis. You can add freshly grated ginger or ginger extract to your meals, drinks or smoothies every day for best results.

Turmeric: Another powerful anti-inflammatory spice is turmeric, which has been used to treat diseases like arthritis and migraine headaches due to its capability of reducing inflammation throughout the body – including in the airways that lead up into our sinuses! Mix some turmeric powder into your daily meals or create an herbal tea using turmeric as one of its major components twice a day for best results.

Onion and Garlic: Both onion and garlic are known as “warm” vegetables, meaning they help keep our bodies warm by increasing heat production inside of them (which helps kill off any bacteria/fungi trying to take residence). These two vegetables also both contain allicin, an antimicrobial compound known for killing off infections quickly; making it perfect for relieving painful symptoms caused by sinusitis! Use them both together when possible – such as chopping up some onions and garlic together into salads or soups – for maximum benefits from this duo!

Pineapple Juice: The enzyme bromelain found in pineapple juice has strong anti-inflammatory properties that may help reduce congestion within the nose/sinuses while easing pain caused by inflamed tissues inside these cavities; essentially resulting in better breathing overall! Drink at least 8 oz of pineapple juice per day (if possible) during flare ups with sinusitis; if drinking pure pineapple juice isn’t something you enjoy then adding fresh chopped pineapple bits into smoothies should do fine too :)

Omega-3 Fatty Acids: Adding cold water fish like salmon, tuna, mackerel etc.. will provide plenty of Omega-3 fatty acids directly into your diet; these types of fats have been known to provide substantial relief against numerous inflammatory diseases like asthma & rhinitis…and since inflammation plays a huge role in how bad somebody experiences their Sinus Infection then consuming more Omega-3's regularly could be extremely helpful here too ;)
