Sinusitis, or inflammation of the sinuses, can be a very annoying and painful condition. Fortunately, there are some simple steps you can take to get rid of it.
The first step is to flush out your sinuses with a saline solution. This will help clear out any mucous that may have clogged up your sinus cavities and allow them to drain more freely. You can make a saline solution at home easily by combining one teaspoon of salt with 8 ounces of warm water in a bowl or container. Then use a bulb syringe or neti pot to flush your nasal passages with the solution. Do this twice daily for best results.
In addition to flushing your nasal passages, make sure you are drinking plenty of fluids as well as herbal teas like chamomile, mint, ginger root tea etc which all help reduce inflammation and fight off infection-causing bacteria in the body naturally - both important components for reducing sinus symptoms quickly!
Lastly, other holistic remedies such as steam inhalation (with essential oils like eucalyptus oil), blowing/suctioning through an aspirator-type device (to dislodge blockages), avoiding allergens & irritants like dust mites & pet dander etc., using moist heat on the forehead area will also help relieve discomfort associated with acute sinusitis promptly!!
