There is no definitive answer, as there is no scientific evidence directly linking the two. However, it's plausible that dandruff could lead to breathing difficulties in some people, as the flakes from dandruff could potentially block the airways and cause difficulty breathing. In addition, dandruff can be caused by a fungal infection, and fungal infections have been known to cause respiratory problems. So it's possible that the fungus that causes dandruff may also contribute to shortness of breath or difficulty breathing.
