Eliwel tablet is given in the treatment of depression, migraine headache, and neuropathic pain. It belongs to the class of tricyclic antidepressants that works by inhibiting the reuptake of serotonin from the nerve terminals increases its concentration in the cns.

Its antidepressant action enhances and regulates the mood. It also works by blocking certain pain-generating messengers from nerves that help in relieving neuropathic pains.

Take this tablet as instructed by your doctor. Do not stop the medication until and unless your doctor has advised you to. Use this tablet regularly to get maximum benefits of the treatment.

The common side effects caused due to this tablet are nausea, vomiting, constipation, dry mouth, headache, dizziness, tremors, blurred vision, syncope, weight gain, speech difficulties, and bone marrow suppression. If these adverse effects persist, consult your doctor immediately.
