Prabha Sinha is currently working as a Professor and Head of the Department in Oman Medical College an affiliate with West Virginia University, USA. Has worked for the NHS more than 32 years and as a Consultant Obs& Gyn at East Sussex Hospital Trust since 1999. Currently, working as a senior consultant, chief in Fetal Medicine Unit at Tawam Hospital, Al Ain, and affiliate of John Hopkins, USA. Prior to joining Tawam Hospital in December 2015 she had honorary contract with Harris Birth Right Centre at Kings College hospital & in Fetal medicine at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital including in fetal cardiology & prematurity clinic for several years. Recruited patients for OPPTIMUM, Maverick ORACLE, CLASP trial and coordinator for Caesar study, reported cases to UKOSS & National Heavy Menstrual Bleeding Audit conducted by RCOG & national audit for sentinel caesarean section study. Preceptor for Advanced Education Module for RCOG, UK for 5 years, Facilitator and teacher for the ‘Training the Trainers’ course, Induction course ‘International Medical Graduates’ RCOG & member of the Joint RCOG/RCR Committee Facilitator for the course LSSEOC courses run by LSTM (Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. UK) Reviewer of several journals. Participated in RITA, ARCP assessment, short listing and interview for registrars for KSS and London Deanery. MRCOG and PLAB Part 2, GMC exam for overseas doctors for more than 10 years. Member of Policy recommendation committee for South East to discuss/ amend policy regarding most appropriate management problem which is cost effective Member on Cochrane Review panel, Served as an external examiner to several universities within the UK, delivered several invited lectures and has been an examiner for MRCOR Part 2 for RCOG for several years. She is also a reviewer for several journals, Teacher and facilitator for Diploma in ultrasound scan at Sharjah University & PROMPT Courses and Neonatal fellowship for the pediatrics department. Published many articles in peer reviewed Journals, authored many books and chapters, made several presentations invited speakers in national and international conferences.
