better to rest for some time and resume once you feel better. Do not drive or use any

Answer- Yes, Torsid Plus 5/50 Tablet can cause gout. Torsid Plus 5/50 Tablet contains
torasemide which can increase the blood uric acid levels by increasing its absorption
from the kidneys. Increased uric acid levels can cause a gout attack. Inform your doctor
if you have hyperuricemia (excess of uric acid in blood) or a history of gout before taking
this medicine. Use of the medicine should be avoided in patients with gout.
Answer- Yes, the use of Torsid Plus 5/50 Tablet can cause dehydration (excessive loss
of fluid). The patient may experience dryness of the mouth, thirst, drowsiness,
restlessness, muscle pain, weakness, tiredness, fall in blood pressure (hypotension),
decreased urination (oliguria), increased heart rate (tachycardia), nausea and vomiting.
Inform your doctor if you experience persistent problems while taking this medicine.
Answer- Yes, Torsid Plus 5/50 Tablet can cause hyperkalemia (increased potassium
levels). This occurs more commonly in patients with underlying kidney disease or in
patients taking excessive potassium in their diet. High potassium levels can cause fatal
heart problems. It is very important to get electrolytes and kidney function tests done on
a regular basis while you are taking this medicine.
Answer- The main side effect of Torsid Plus 5/50mg Tablet is peeing (urination) more
often than normal. Most people need to pee about 30 minutes after taking Torsid Plus
5/50mg Tablet 10's, and again within a few hours. Do not take it before going to bed, or
you may have to wake in the night to go for the urination frequently.
