Rabitrack tablet is a proton pump inhibitor (ppi). It works by reducing the amount of acid liberated by the stomach and relieves the pain associated with heartburn and acid reflux.

Rabitrack is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux) and peptic ulcer disease. It may help improve your symptoms by usually eating smaller meals and avoiding caffeinated drinks like tea and coffee and spicy or fatty foods.

This medication's most common side effects are nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, flatulence, diarrhoea, and stomach pain. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects bother you. The risk of side effects may increase as long as you take this medicine. Chronic use of this tablet may increase your risk for bone fractures, especially with higher doses. Consult your doctor about ways of preventing bone loss (osteoporosis), like taking calcium and vitamin d supplements.

Low blood magnesium levels (hypomagnesemia) is observed in some people taking this medicine for 3 months or more. This may lead to tiredness, confusion, dizziness, muscle twitches, and an irregular heartbeat. Your doctor may monitor your magnesium levels to prevent this. Depending on the underlying condition, you will prescribe the dose about how you respond to the medicine.

This medication may not be suitable for some people. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have any severe liver problems or taking any other medications for hiv. You need to inform your doctor if you are pregnant or intend to be pregnant or breastfeeding. Alcohol consumption needs to be avoided while taking this medicine as it may lead to excessive acid production in the stomach.

Inform your doctor if you had any previous history of allergy to this medication or if you had suffered from osteoporosis (bone loss). Adapt to lifestyle modifications to improve quality of life.
