LOSANORM CH tablets are given in combination with two antihypertensive agents to manage high blood pressure, which helps control the blood pressure, thereby reducing the risk of heart attacks or stroke. as it is a combination of two medicines, each of which provides effective actions individually as given below:

chlorthalidone is a thiazide diuretic, also known as a water pill that effectively removes extra water and some electrolytes like sodium and chloride. it also relaxes the blood vessels, which eases blood flow, thereby reducing blood pressure.

losartan potassium is an angiotensin receptor blocker (arb) that works by blocking the effects of a hormone called angiotensin ii, which effectively reduces blood pressure, improves blood flow, and helps the heart pump efficiently.

take this tablet as instructed by your doctor. the dose and frequency of dosing is as per your doctor’s instructions. do not stop the medication until and unless your doctor has asked to. use this tablet regularly to get maximum benefits of the treatment.

the side effects caused by this tablet are dizziness, headache, drowsiness, nausea, stomach upset, tiredness, palpitations, glucose intolerance, increased blood uric acid, taste changes and electrolyte imbalance. if these adverse effects persist, consult your doctor immediately.
