Letisha tablet alleviates the symptoms of breast cancer such as breast lumps, bloody discharge from the nipple, or changes in the shape or texture of the breast. It works by decreasing the amount of estrogen (natural female hormone) produced in the body. The decreased estrogen can slow down or stop the growth of some breast cancers, which helps to grow. In addition, it is also helpful in infertility, whereby it increases the release of certain hormones to stimulate the release of eggs from the ovaries.
The most common side effects of this medication are hot flashes, fatigue, increased sweating, and increased level of cholesterol (hypercholesterolemia). Consult your doctor if any of these side effects may bother you. Your doctor may find specific ways to reduce or prevent them. Complete the entire course of treatment as long as it is prescribed.
