Ibrushil tablets may make you bleed more easily. Tell your doctor if you take other medications that increase your risk of bleeding, like warfarin, heparin and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. You are advised to take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
Medication must not be stopped unless told by your doctor. The most common side effects of this medication are diarrhoea, feeling very tired, nausea, headache, swollen hands, ankles or feet, shortness of breath, dizziness, fainting, constipation, infected nose, sinuses or throat (cold), fever and vomiting.
Serious side effects include decreased appetite, low number of neutrophils, low number of platelets & red blood cells, bruises, skin rash, muscle and joint pain.
It may also include muscle spasms, low blood sodium levels, urinary tract infection, high blood pressure, blurred vision, sore stomach, high levels of uric acid and increased creatine in your blood. If the symptoms persist or worsen, you need to inform your doctor immediately.
This medication may lead to heart, liver and kidney problems. Your doctor may advise blood tests before or after the treatment to check for bleeding issues. Males should use condoms and do not donate sperm during treatment and for 3 months after your treatment has finished. If you plan to have a child, talk to your doctor or healthcare professional before taking the ibrushil tablet.
Before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or intend t be pregnant or have liver & kidney problems and using any other medications.
This medication is not recommended in pregnancy or while breastfeeding as it may harm the baby.
