Description
Espin AT Tablet is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). This is a combination of two medicines that controls blood pressure when a single medication is not effective. It helps to lower high blood pressure and thus reduces the chances of future heart attack and stroke. Espin AT works by the combined action of Atenolol & Amlodipine. Atenolol works by blocking the certain natural chemicals in your body, like epinephrine, to the heart and blood vessels which ultimately helps in lowering heart rate, blood pressure and strain on the heart. Amlodipine works by relaxing and widening the blood vessels, thereby facilitating blood circulation and lowering blood pressure.

and the medicines you might be taking.
2. How long should I use the Espin AT Tablet 10?
Answer- Espin AT Tablet is recommended to use in the dose and duration as advised
by your doctor. Do not stop taking Espin AT Tablet on your own as it may lead to a
sudden rise in blood pressure increases the risk of heart attack and stroke.
3. Can Espin AT Tablet cause dizziness?
Answer- Espin AT Tablet 10 can cause dizziness. If you feel dizzy, try getting up
slowly from a sitting or lying position. If your dizziness is severe or unmanageable,
please seek medical advice.
4. Can a diabetic take Espin AT Tablet?
Answer- Espin AT Tablet may alter blood sugar levels since beta-blockers (blood
pressure-lowering agents) like Atenolol can mask hypoglycaemia symptoms (low blood
sugar). Please consult your doctor for more information.
5. Do I need to take Espin AT Tablet even if my blood pressure becomes normal?
Answer- Even though your blood pressure becomes normal after using Espin AT Tablet,
it may switch back to high ranges if you stop using it. Your doctor may change the
dosing schedule based on your blood pressure range.
