Flunil tablet is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor. It acts by improving the levels of a chemical messenger in the brain called serotonin. It helps to treat depression, panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and other conditions.
Take this medication as prescribed by your doctor. Don’t take excess doses. Complete the treatment course. Early stopping of this medication may worsen the condition and may cause withdrawal symptoms. Don’t stop or skip the medicine. Take flunil tablets for few weeks to see its benefits.
The common side effects of this tablet are dry mouth, indigestion, sinusitis, increased sweating, nausea, indigestion, fatigue, loss of appetite, abnormal dreams, and insomnia. Other side effects of this medication are delay in ejaculation, erectile dysfunction, decreased sexual drive. If the symptoms persist or worsen, inform your doctor. If you develop mood swings, depression, or suicidal thoughts, consult your doctor immediately.
Inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney, heart problems, glaucoma, epilepsy, and diabetes. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or a breastfeeding mother.
