Odoxil is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections affecting the ear, throat, ear, urinary tract and skin. It kills the bacteria which cause infection. It is recommended to take this table with food to reduce the risk of stomach upset. You should take medicine as prescribed by the doctor.
It is recommended to take a fixed time. It usually takes few days to make you feel better, but it is recommended to complete the course of treatment. The dose and duration depend on the infection. Don’t stop the medicine too early; this may lead to the survival of some bacteria and increase chances of recurrence of infection or worsening of infection.
The most common side effects include rash, vomiting, stomach pain, nausea and diarrhoea. These side effects are usually minor and not serious but inform the doctor if they do not subside. If the symptoms persist or worsen, you need to consult your doctor immediately. Before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding, pregnant or intend to be pregnant and using any other medications.
