He had additional training in cerebrovascular Sonography from National University Hospital, Singapore and the University of Alabama, Birmingham, USA. He obtained training in peripheral nerve and muscle sonography from the Institute of Neurology, Italy and Netherlands. To his credit, he has cleared the comprehensive exam in applied physics, carotid duplex and transcranial Doppler conducted by the American society of Neuroimaging in 2011. He is an invited speaker for workshops on Neurosonology both in India and Asia. He is Secretary General for Society of Neurosonology.
