There are many different types of hallucinations that can occur in people with schizophrenia. Some of the more common ones include visual hallucinations (seeing things that are not there), auditory hallucinations (hearing voices or other sounds), and tactile hallucinations (feeling things that are not there). People with schizophrenia may also experience olfactory hallucinations (smelling things that are not there) and gustatory hallucinations (tasting things that are not there).
