Mood swings can be caused by many things, such as stress, hormone fluctuations, or nutritional deficiencies. If someone you know is experiencing mood swings, the best thing you can do is to try to understand what might be causing them.
If the person is under a lot of stress, suggest ways they can relax and take time for themselves. If the person's mood swings seem to coincide with their menstrual cycle, suggest they keep a journal to track their moods throughout the month. And if the person seems to be generally off balance nutritionally, encourage them to see a nutritionist who can help them identify any deficiencies and make appropriate dietary changes.
