About 1% of testicular cancer cases may have metastatic disease at the time of diagnosis, which means cancer has spread to other parts of the body. In general, testicular cancer is not contagious. However, if you have untreated testicular cancer, it could potentially infect the other testicle. Therefore, it is important to seek medical treatment as soon as possible if you think you may have testicular cancer. Request an appointment with a urologist or other medical provider to discuss your symptoms and whether or not you should be tested for this disease. Early detection and treatment is key to ensuring the best possible outcome.

Unfortunately, untreated testicular cancer can infect the other testicle. Testicular cancer is a very serious condition and if it is not treated promptly, it can spread to other parts of the body, including the other testicle. If you think you may have testicular cancer, it is important to see a doctor immediately so that you can begin treatment and improve your chances of recovery.
