zedott-dt is an antidiarrhoeal agent which is used in the treatment of diarrhoea. zedott-dt works by reducing the secretion of water and electrolytes that results in decreasing the frequency of diarrhoea. take medicine exactly as prescribed by the doctor. do not miss the dose even if you feel better. you should take medicine with food. take plenty of fluids and oral rehydrating salts to replenish the fluid loss.
you must follow caution as excess consumption may lead to serious adverse effects. the most common side effects of zedott-dt include tonsilitis, rashes, swelling of face and lips, headache, breathing difficulty, vomiting, fever. if the side effects persist or worsen, then inform the doctor immediately. avoid consuming alcohol while taking this tablet. do not use this medicine in children.
