VERTIZAC tablet is used to treat vertigo, motion sickness and vestibular disorders. VERTIZAC tablet is a combination medicine consisting of two medications such as cinnarizine and dimenhydrinate. cinnarizine is a calcium channel antagonist that works by preventing blood vessel constriction in the inner ear. it improves the ear's microcirculation. dimenhydrinate is an antihistamine that inhibits the action of a chemical messenger (histamine), which causes light-headedness in vertigo.
VERTIZAC tablet is used alone or in combination with other medications. you are advised to take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. you must follow caution as excess consumption leads to serious adverse effects. medication must not be stopped unless told by your doctor. alcohol consumption needs to be avoided while on this medication as it may lead to a change in pulse rate, dizziness and drowsiness.
this medication's most common side effects are drowsiness, weight gain, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, fatigue, and headache.
