Urotone tablets are a prescription drug that belongs to a class of compounds called cholinergic agents. This tablet is used to treat urinary retention (inability to urinate), which usually occurs after surgery or after childbirth. This helps to contract the bladder muscles, which in turn causes urination. These tablets also help improve your athletic skills.

Urinary retention means problems with the emptying of your bladder. It can be caused by impaired coordination of the nerves and muscles of the bladder, leading to an inability to urinate. These pills cause the bladder muscles to contract and improve their function. It helps treat urinary retention effectively. Take it as recommended by your doctor and follow your doctor's instructions carefully.

Some of the common side effects of this drug are headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, irregular heartbeat, flushing, and sweating. It can also make you feel dizzy or drowsy, so you are advised to avoid driving a car or doing anything that requires focus until you understand how it affects you. If any of these side effects become serious, or if you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, tell your doctor immediately.

Before treatment, tell your doctor if you are taking any medications for any health problems. Tell your doctor before treatment if you are pregnant, as this is usually not recommended during pregnancy.
