UNICARBAZAN tablet contains two medications, diethylcarbamazine and chlorpheniramine.
chlorpheniramine maleate is an antiallergic medication that reduces the elevated white blood cells and manages allergic symptoms like cough and shortness of breath. diethylcarbamazine is advised to treat specific worm infections.
this medicine works by reducing muscular movement and resulting in the immobility of the parasites (worms). thus it kills worms. this medicine works within a short period; continue taking this medication as long as it is advised so that parasites are killed and do not become resistant.
this tablet's most common side effects are nausea, appetite loss, sleepiness, headache, and allergic reaction. most of these side effects present for a shorter duration. if these side effects persist for a longer duration, inform your doctor.
