Description

Ultramed-D Tablet 10 is composed of two medicines, namely: Domperidone and Pantoprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic and anti-nausea agent that helps to treat indigestion and stomach pain. On the other hand, Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that reduces the excess stomach acid formation by blocking the actions of an enzyme . Ultramed-D Tablet 10 is a widely used medicine to treat peptic ulcers and gastroesophageal reflux disease. Ultramed-D Tablet 10 prevents the release of stomach acid and relieves symptoms of food pipe lining inflammation, and gastroesophageal reflux disease, or heartburn.

Directions for use

•  It should be taken as directed by your doctor and in the prescribed quantity.
•  Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
•  It would be best if you take it at a fixed time for optimal results.
•  Keep it away from the reach of children
•  Do not use expired medicine.

Safety Information

•  Tell the doctor about the medicines, supplements, or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid possible interaction.
•  If you have missed any dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule.
•  Stick to simple meals and avoid spicy rich food in order to avoid feeling sick (nausea).
•  Dry mouth may occur as a side effect. Frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake and sugarless candy may help.
•  Seek medical attention right away if you have symptoms, such as: agitation, sweating, shivering, fast heart rate, muscle stiffness, twitching or loss of coordination.
•  As a precautionary measure, do not consume alcohol and quit smoking
•  Eat healthy food and do regular exercises.
