TINOPHITE cream is a steroid & an antifungal agent. it is a combination of two medications. fluocinolone acetonide is a steroidal agent that blocks some chemical messengers which cause inflammatory symptoms. miconazole nitrate is an antifungal agent that acts against microorganisms that cause infection.
this ointment is for external use only. take this medication as prescribed by your doctor. avoid getting in contact with eyes, nose, mouth, and other body cavities. use this medicine regularly. this medication may take several days to weeks to show its benefits. don’t stop this medication until told by your doctor. sudden stoppage of this ointment may worsen the condition.
