It is a man-made version of the natural female sex hormone progesterone. Sysron-N Tablet is a synthetic progestin. It works by mimicking the effects of natural progesterone (female hormone). - Do not take Sysron-N Tablet if you are pregnant. Use a non-hormonal method of contraception such as condoms to prevent pregnancy while you are taking this medication, as it is not a contraceptive.
- As a precautionary measure, do not consume alcohol and quit smoking
- Eat healthy food and do regular exercises.

1. Does Sysron-N Tablet reset your cycle?
Answer: - Yes, Sysron-N Tablet may reset your cycle. It is usually given for about 10 days to help manage heavy periods. Usually, your periods will resume within 3 days after stopping the medication. Your body may correct itself after 3-4 cycles and your period cycle may resume as before.
2. Can you bleed while taking Sysron-N Tablet?
Answer: - Yes, Sysron-N Tablet may cause breakthrough bleeding or spotting in some cases. This more likely occurs if the medicine is not taken as prescribed, such as taking lower than prescribed dose or not taking it 3 days before your periods start. It is, therefore, very important that you take Sysron-N Tablet as prescribed.
3. How quickly does Sysron-N Tablet stop bleeding?
Answer: - Sysron-N Tablet is advised to patients having heavy periods or prolonged periods. The usual dose is prescribed to be taken 3 times a day for 10 days. The bleeding will stop usually within 48 hours of taking it. However, consult your doctor if the bleeding continues.
4. What if I forget to take Sysron-N Tablet?
Answer: - If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember. You can continue taking the next scheduled tablets at their usual time. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. However, if you miss your dose often, you may experience frequent bleeding and spotting. Consult your doctor about it.
