Stiloz tablet is used to treat pain in the legs due to insufficient blood flow (intermittent claudication). It helps reduce cramping, numbness, or weakness in the legs that occur on walking in such patients. It works by widening the blood vessels and decrease the blood flow to the lower limbs.
This medication dose and duration will be given based on your medical condition as prescribed by the doctor. Take this tablet orally on an empty stomach and at any fixed time. Medication must not be stopped unless told by your doctor. Do not take this medication longer than recommended by the doctor.
The most common side effect is headache, nausea, vomiting, oedema, diarrhoea, dizziness, palpitation, abdominal pain, abnormal stools, and flatulence. If the symptoms persist or worsen, you need to consult your doctor immediately. Using this medication may increase your risk of bleeding, so consult your doctor immediately if you experience any pinpoint of rash or blood in your vomits, urine, or stools.
Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication. You must follow caution as excess consumption leads to serious adverse effects. Do not take this medication without a doctor’s prescription as it is not suitable for everyone. This medication may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy so, do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have liver & kidney problems, and use any other medication. Stiloz tablet is unsafe to use in both pregnancy and breastfeeding.
