Soventus syrup is an antitussive (cough suppressants). It suppresses cough by reducing the activity of the cough centre in the brain. It works centrally bulbar cough centre as well as peripherally on the cough receptors in the tracheobronchial tree.
This syrup is irritating, usually associated with a tickly throat, and may be caused due to cold, flu, allergies, or throat irritants. This syrup suppresses dry, hacking coughs. It also alleviates allergy symptoms like watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose, or throat irritation. It helps you carry out your daily activities more efficiently. Based on the underlying illness and age, the dose was calculated and prescribed to improve your symptoms. Continue the medication for as long as it is prescribed. Inform your doctor if there is no improvement within seven days of the treatment.
