SELOKEN-XL tablet are used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), angina (heart-related chest pain), and irregular heart rhythms (arrhythmia). it also helps to prevent migraines, future heart attacks, and stroke. it works by blocking the effects of some chemicals on your heart and blood vessels.

metoprolol succinate and metoprolol tartrate tablet are used alone or in combination with other medications. you are advised to take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. you must follow caution as excess consumption leads to serious adverse effects. this medication has to be taken for several weeks or months for you to see or feel its benefits. medication must not be stopped unless told by your doctor. alcohol consumption needs to be avoided while on this medication.

the most common side effects of this medication are nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, tiredness and mouth sores.
