diclofenac sodium and misoprostol is a combination tablet used to treat pain and swelling caused due to conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondylitis by inhibiting the substances responsible for causing pain and swelling and by protecting the stomach gastric irritation effects, respectively. avoid consuming alcohol as it may lead to cause stomach problems and drowsiness while using this medication.

this combination is mostly prescribed to arthritis patients at high risk of getting stomach/intestinal ulcers and complications. this medication may cause side effects such as hyperkalemia, hypertension, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, indigestion and loss of appetite. inform your doctor if these side effects worsen your condition. consult your doctor if you find pain or tenderness in the upper stomach, pale stools, dark urine and loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, yellow eyes, or skin, indicating serious liver problem symptoms.
