RESPICURE P syrup is given in combination, which is used in the symptomatic treatment of common cold and fever. each compound has its own action in reducing the symptoms; they are as follows:

chlorpheniramine maleate is an antihistamine that helps to relieve allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. paracetamol is a pain reliever that also reduces fever by blocking certain chemical messengers, which causes pain and symptoms. phenylephrine hydrochloride is a decongestant that helps in narrowing the small blood vessels providing relief from stuffiness in the nose. sodium citrate is a mucolytic that helps in thinning and loosening mucous. methanol is an organic compound that provides a cooling sensation and relieves throat irritation.

Respicure P can be given with or without food in a dose and frequency advised by your doctor. the dose and duration of treatment is as per the severity of the present condition, which your doctor monitors. the common side effects of using Respicure P are headache, drowsiness, nausea and vomiting.

Respicure P can cause sleepiness, and it is advised not to drive as this may alter your concentration. alcohol consumption while on this medication may worsen the state of drowsiness. let your doctor know if you are pregnant or intend to be pregnant or breastfeeding.
