Rapacan is an immune suppressant used in organ transplantation. It controls the body's immune response so that the body can accept the new organ.
You are advised to take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. Caution must be followed as excess consumption leads to serious adverse effects.
The most common side effects are nausea, vomiting, headache, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, urinary tract infection, fever, anaemia, elevated creatinine levels, hypertension, elevated blood lipid levels, oedema, and joint pain thrombocytopenia. If the symptoms persist or worsen, you need to consult your doctor immediately. Your doctor may advise certain tests during the treatment to check the effects of the medicine.
Before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or intend to be pregnant, have liver & kidney problems, and use any other medications. This medication is not recommended in pregnancy or while breastfeeding as it may harm the baby.
