Pregmate tablet is a selective estrogen receptor modulator. It works by releasing the reproductive hormones and stimulates eggs' release from the ovary (ovulation). Take this medication as prescribed by your doctor. The dose and duration depend on your medication condition. This medication is not safe for long-term use. It is given only for three menstrual cycles. Medication should be stopped unless told by your doctor.
Common side effects are nausea, vomiting, bloating, headache, enlarged ovary, menstrual bleeding at irregular intervals, and breast discomfort. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult your doctor if you experience abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and weight gain while taking this medication.
Avoid driving after taking this medication as it may cause blurred vision. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication. Inform your doctor if you had an early menopause, have ovarian fibroids, or have swollen ovaries, and use any other medications.
