Piosafe mf tablet is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus. This medication works by decreasing glucose production from the liver and increases the body’s sensitivity to insulin. It controls the increased blood sugar levels.

You are advised to take this medication as prescribed by your doctor. Take this medication at the same time daily for better results. The dose, duration and frequency of this medication are based on the medical condition of the patient. Don’t skip a dose of this medication.

The most common side effects of Piosafe mf include diarrhoea, oedema, taste alteration, nausea, blurred vision and stomach pain. If the symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor immediately. Avoid alcohol while taking this medication as it may raise blood glucose levels.

Before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you have type1 or type 2 diabetes because this medication is not used in type 1 diabetes mellitus. Inform your doctor if you have ketoacidosis, kidney, liver problems or heart problems. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or a breastfeeding mother. Inform your doctor if you are taking any medications, as it may cause interactions.
