Pegtoline O is a combinational medication, which is available in syrup form and is used to treat infections of teeth, lungs, gastrointestinal tract, urinary tract and genital tract. It works by damaging the dna of the infection-causing bacteria and prevents the spread of infection.
The most common side effects of the Pegtoline O syrup are nausea, vomiting, metallic taste, headache, loss of appetite, abdominal cramps and mild skin rash. This syrup is usually given twice a day, morning and evening. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of intake, repeat the same dose but do not double the dose.
Before taking the Pegtoline O syrup, inform your doctor if you have a history of allergy, heart disease, kidney disease and liver impairment.
