Orni tablet is an antiprotozoal agent. It works by killing the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging their dna. Take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. You must follow caution as excess consumption leads to serious adverse effects. Do not stop the medication unless told by your doctor. Do not drink any alcohol while taking this medicine and for a few days after stopping it.
The most common side effects of this medication are headache, dryness in the mouth, nausea, and a slight metallic taste in the mouth. These are mild do not require any medical emergency. Consult your doctor if these bother you or do not go away. To prevent dryness or metallic taste in the mouth, use sugarless candies or lozenges.
Inform your doctor if you have any liver problems, kidney problems, and heart problems.
