Ocuvir tablet is an antiviral medicine used to treat viral infections like herpes labialis, herpes simplex, shingles, genital herpes infection, and chickenpox and prevents the multiplication of virus in human cells, therefore, helps in clearing the infection. It works by stopping the virus from producing new viruses and clears up your infection.
This medication dose and duration will be given based on your medical condition as prescribed by the doctor. Take this tablet orally with or without food, but try to have it at a fixed time regularly. Before taking this medication, dissolve the tablet in a glass of water and then take it.
