Nublexa is an anti-neoplastic drug used to treat colorectal cancer and liver cancer. It works by blocking the abnormal protein that signals cancer cells to multiply. Thus it leads to stop or reduce the growth of cancer cells.
Take this medication as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised not to take grape juice while taking this medication. It takes several weeks to see or feel benefits from it. Caution must be followed as excess or overdose consumption may lead to serious adverse effects. Medication should not be stopped unless told by your doctor.
This medication's most common side effects are rash, weakness, low blood platelets, difficulty in speaking, bleeding, nausea, vomiting, fever, anaemia, diarrhoea, high blood pressure, and stomatitis (inflammation of the mouth). If the symptoms persist or worsen consult your doctor immediately. Monitor blood pressure regularly. Your doctor may advise certain tests before and after the treatment.
Before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or intend to be pregnant or have liver or kidney problems and using any other medication. This medication is not safe for pregnant and breastfeeding. Use contraceptives to prevent pregnancy.
