NOVASTAT GOLD tablet contains aspirin, clopidogrel and rosuvastatin. aspirin and clopidogrel are anticoagulant medications. they prevent blood clot formation by stopping the sticking of platelets and also decreases the size of clots that are present in the blood vessels.

rosuvastatin is a hyperlipidemic class of medication. rosuvastatin works by decreasing the bad cholesterol formation and increases the good cholesterol formation in the serum. cholesterol is of two types ldl and hdl. ldl is the bad cholesterol that narrows blood vessels and hdl is the good cholesterol that helps you remain healthy.
