Migarid tablet belongs to calcium channel blocker. It works by preventing loss of tone and dilation of blood vessels, preventing migraine headache. You are advised to take dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. You must take the complete course of medication even if symptoms are resolved and do not skip any doses. Medication must not be stopped unless told by your doctor.
Common side effects are sleepiness, weight gain, muscle pain, fatigue, constipation, nausea, insomnia, runny nose, increased appetite, depression, and breast pain. If the symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor.
Do not drive or operate any machines after taking this medication because it may cause sleepiness. Take a balanced diet and do regular exercise. Before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Advise the patient to go for regular monitoring of behaviour.
