Description

Met-Stamlo 50 mg Capsule 10’s belong is an antihypertensive, used to treat hypertension (increased blood pressure). Hypertension (high blood pressure) is a lifelong or chronic condition in which the force exerted by the blood against the artery walls becomes so high that it leads to heart diseases. If it continues for a long time, the heart and arteries may not function properly. This can damage the blood vessels of the brain, heart, and kidneys, resulting in a stroke, heart failure, or kidney failure. Met-Stamlo 50mg Capsule is a combination of Amlodipine and Metoprolol. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker while Metoprolol belongs to a group of medicines called beta-blockers. Metoprolol relaxes blood vessels by blocking the action of certain natural substances in your body. On the other hand, Amlodipine widens and relaxes the blood vessels making the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. Met- Stamlo Capsule 10's is prescribed to adults and children more than six years of age.

Directions for use

•  It should be taken as directed by your doctor and in the prescribed quantity.
•  Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water . Do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
