MEEJOY MF tablets are used to treat heavy menstrual bleeding and menstrual pain. tranexamic acid is an anti-fibrinolytic. mefenamic acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (nsaid). it works by controlling excessive bleeding during periods. it works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers which cause pain and inflammation. take this medication in a dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. it should be taken on the first day of the period to get the benefit. do not stop this medication unless told by your doctor. do not skip or miss any dose.
the most common side effects of these medications are nausea, vomiting, heartburn, indigestion, diarrhoea, loss of appetite, nasal congestion, headache, tiredness, musculoskeletal pain, anaemia, sinus pain, and stomach pain. drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration. consult your doctor if you do not find any changes in periods after three consecutive periods.
before taking this medication, Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or having any kidney problems & vaginal bleeding and using any other medications. avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medication. your doctor may advise regular eye checkups while taking this medication.
