MACFLOX belongs to the fluoroquinolone class used to treat the nose, throat, skin, lungs, and urinary tract infections. it works by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing and thus kills the microorganisms.
the most common side effects are headache, dizziness, and nausea. these side effects are temporary and resolve within a short period. take MACFLOX medication as prescribed by your doctor. after completing the course, you may experience diarrhoea as a side effect. do not take more than the recommended dose as it may cause serious side effects. inform your doctor if you experience blood in stools.
before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding and have kidney disease or liver disease. avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication as it may cause more drowsiness.
