Lupibend syrup is anthelmintic. It works by stopping worms from absorbing sugar; hence the worm loses energy and dies. Take this medication as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take the complete course of treatment, even if you feel better. Medication must not be stopped unless told by your doctor.
Common side effects are nausea, vomiting, dizziness, increased liver enzymes, and loss of appetite. If the symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor. Advise the patient to regularly monitor blood tests and liver function tests while taking this medication.
Before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or intend to be pregnant. Use contraceptive methods to prevent pregnancy.
