LEVOCET SYP 60ML

levocet is an antihistamine syrup used to treat the symptoms of allergic conditions such as hay fever, conjunctivitis, some skin reactions such as eczema, hives, and reactions to bites and stings. and also treats watery eyes, runny nose, sneezing, and itching. this medication is usually given to the child only on the day's child has symptoms and has to prevent symptoms regularly. though the symptoms were subsided, continue the treatment for the duration specified by your child doctor.

this medication may cause side effects such as feeling sleepy or dizzy, dry mouth, fatigue, headache, constipation, diarrhoea, painful teething, xerostomia, otitis media, nasopharyngitis, pharyngitis, fever.

inform the doctor if these side effects bother or worsen your child's condition. please do not exceed more than the recommended dose as it may lead to toxicity and adverse effects.

before giving this medication, inform your doctor if your child has any liver & kidney problems and uses other medicines.
