KTC contains cetrimide which is an antiseptic that kills bacteria, fungi and viruses on the scalp and treats flaky and itchy scalp. cetrimide damages the cell membrane by lowering the surface tension, which causes microbial protein denaturation and antiseptic action. ketoconazole is an antifungal. it kills and inhibits the growth of the dandruff-causing fungi by destroying its cell membrane, thereby treating your skin infection.

KTC is used to control dandruff and gives relief from scaly, flaky and itchy scalp. continue the entire course of treatment which helps in curing the infection entirely and prevent relapse.

this medication's most common side effects are burning, itching, irritation, and redness at the application site. if you assume that these side effects or any symptoms are due to this medicine and persist for a long duration, please consult your doctor. it will usually get better after 2 to 4 weeks. Inform your doctor if no improvement is seen after 2 to 4 weeks of treatment. do not exceed more than the recommended dose. avoid direct contact with your eyes. in the case of direct communication, wash your eyes with plenty of water and seek a doctor's advice immediately if any irritation persists for a prolonged duration.
