Kendix cream is an antifungal medication. They are used to treat fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete’s foot, nappy rash, sweat rash, and vaginal thrush. It kills fungi by destroying the fungal cell membrane.
Take this medication as directed by your doctor, depending upon your medical condition. This cream is used for external use only, and it is applied around the affected area an inch surrounded by skin. Before applying the cream, the affected area should be clean and dry. Consult your doctor if your infection does not subside within four weeks. Please do not use this cream more than you need as it will not clear your condition faster and lead to serious side effects. This medication will take few weeks for the infection to clear and a few months before the skin returns to its normal colour.
Wash your hands before and after treating the infection. Avoid getting it in the eyes, nose, or mouth. If accidental exposure occurs, rinse immediately. If you have an athlete’s foot, wash your socks thoroughly and change your shoes daily if possible.
Applying this cream has some common side effects such as rash, slight irritation or burning, redding of skin, and peeling. If the symptoms persist or worsen, you need to consult your doctor immediately. Do not stop the medication unless told by your doctor.
