Jonac gel is used to relieve pain from arthritis, knees, ankles, feet, elbows, wrists, hands and reduces symptoms such as burning, itching, irritation and redness of skin by inhibiting the pain signals. It works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby inhibiting the pain signals and helps to reduce inflammation and pain.

You are advised to apply this gel as directed by your doctor. Caution must be followed as overuse of gel may increase the risk of jonac toxicity. Inform your doctor if you experience any irritation or burning sensation at the site of application. Jonac gel may also provoke adverse effects such as pruritus, erythema, skin irritation, and skin discolouration.

Jonac gel takes approximately 5 minutes for the overall occurrence of numbing effect to the application site. The most common side effects of this gel are the bruising appearance of the skin, burning, scaling, stinging, redness and itching.
