HAPPI IT capsule is given in combination for treating and managing gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (gerd) and peptic ulcer disease and helps relieve its symptoms like heartburn, stomach pain, indigestion and irritation caused due to the disease. it is a combination of two medicines, each of which provides effective actions individually as given below: itopride hcl is a gastroprokinetic agent that acts on a region of the brain that controls vomiting by inhibiting certain enzymes. it also promotes movement in the stomach, which helps the food to pass more quickly. rabeprazole sodium is a proton-pump inhibitor that works by reducing the gastric-acid secretions that prevent further damage to the ulcer present on the stomach lining and helps in reducing its symptoms like heartburn and indigestion.
take this capsule as instructed by your doctor. the dose and frequency of dosing are as per your doctor’s instructions. do not stop the medication until and unless your doctor has asked to. use this capsule regularly to get the maximum benefits of the treatment.
the side effects caused by this capsule are stomach pain, diarrhoea, constipation, headache, dizziness, flatulence, fatigue and increased saliva production. if these adverse effects persist, consult your doctor immediately. let your doctor know if you are pregnant or intend to be pregnant or breastfeeding.
